Would you like to talk to a doctor right now? For the first time in the UK you are now able to pick up a phone and get straight through to a friendly UK based, GMC registered doctor. Doctors are available on call 24 hours a day, every day, to answer any medical question you have. This service is completely separate to to Firstmed and the doctors on call will not have access to your details recorded with us. This new service is for people seeking extra advice or a second opinion for their medical conditions.

Callers can talk to Doctors from the comfort of their own home at a time that suits them. No waiting rooms, no receptionists, just a direct line to a friendly Doctor.

Calls cost £1.50 per minute from a BT landline. 24 hrs 7 days a week. Callers must have bill payer's permission and be over 18. All calls are recorded but you do not have to give your name. All Doctors are GMC registered and either fully qualified GPs or post membership hospital specialists. Not for emergency use, diagnosis or prognosis. Not designed to replace a face to face consultation with a medical professional, and any callers taking such advice in isolation do so at their own risk. In the case of a medical emergency, dial 999.
