Book explains causes and treatments of ED

A new book has been published exploring the modern causes and treatments of various health threats including erectile dysfunction, Alzheimer's, cancer, asthma, HIV and obesity.
DNA: How the Biotech Revolution is Changing the Way We Fight Disease explains the progress that science has made in these areas and shows how the tools of biotechnology are being used to combat the most common afflictions.
Author and lab researcher Frank H Stephenson said: "There is an excitement out there, an expectation, that we are but a little way away from stopping cancer in its tracks, from curing diabetes and from preventing afflictions such as Alzheimer's, Aids and malaria."
He added that each gene discovered and each molecular pathway "brings us closer to cures".
Offering many insights into the diseases that destroy health and the promises made by biotechnology, New Scientist called the book "a spirited riposte to those who argue that molecular biology and genome mapping will never make major contributions".
Meanwhile, Tory leader David Cameron has made a promise in a speech to the NHS Confederation that the Conservatives would concentrate on improving the health service for everyone and not waste money on bureaucracy.
